Huh?

Zeisu is a lot of things, but first and foremost it is an open social network. This may sound rather pointless, but lets say a user creates a profile and a blog. If it was created on a closed social network, in order for anyone to see it and use it to its full extent, they would need to register. Zeisu allows anyone, regardless of membership status, the ability to interact with user-created content. We feel that it should be up to the user, not the network who can access their stuff.

Customization is another key feature which sets Zeisu apart. Social networks have been notoreous for their lack of customization. Zeisu was created with customization in mind. Instead of hacks and strange, often invalid code, Zeisu allows full control over your pages by means of a few well-documented codes and unrestricted use of css and (x)html. In short, the only limitation is your imagination.

Socialization and communication is the sole purpose of Zeisu. Through means of an open IM platform, groups, message boards, blogs, and profiles, you can socialize and communicate with users in ways never-before-possible on other social networks.

Zeisu is unobtrusive. No one likes junk mail (well, spammers do, but thats not the point). That is why we have implemented a private mailing system within the site. Instead of getting hundreds of emails requesting to add a certain application, or worse, that you've been poked, the messages (sans the "you've been poked") messages are sent to your on-site inbox. There you can reply, delete, or do whatever with them.

But I liked getting mail?!
Thats not a problem either. By updating your contact settings, we can send out an email whenever the need arises!

Oh, we forgot! No one likes advertisements, but at times they are necessary. Zeisu does contain ads, but they appear only on the main pages of Zeisu. Profiles, blogs, groups, and user-pages can be ad-free. You are not penalized for removing, hiding, or moving the ads. And as for the pages which contain ads, you don't need to worry about "screming ads," annoying flash ads, or any distracting ads which are scattered across the web. Zeisu allows only relativly small image-based ads to appear on the website and denies ads which detract from enjoyment of Zeisu.

Zeisu is open. Although we discussed the open-ness of Zeisu, we failed to mention its other open-ness traits:

Full and open API
Netvibes UWA-based applications for your profile
OpenId enabled logins
Microformats and easy data access

While a lot of these things may sound like jibberish, simply by enabling them, Zeisu has allowed for unparalleled interactions and creationgs, never before possible on any Social Network.
